Undergraduate (Bachelor Academic Studies) in OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY lasts 4 years (8 semesters) and comprises 240 ECTS credits.
The study programme Occupational Safety comprises 32 required courses including the Internship, 16 elective courses (students opt for elective courses from 8 groups), and the diploma thesis. Each course comprises a specified number of ECTS credits.
The aim of the study programme is to develop students’ competences and broaden their academic knowledge in the field of occupational safety engineering, to help them develop creative capabilities of acquiring practical skills to identify, analyze, and assess occupational risk and apply scientific and professional achievements from this field. Students shall acquire specific theoretical knowledge and practical skills for occupational hazard and risk identification, use of preliminary risk analysis methods, organization of risk assessment activities, understanding of management system requirements and its their implementation and integration, and other related competences for direct transition from studying to performing occupational safety jobs.
Upon completion of their studies, students receive the academic degree:
Bachelor with Honours in Occupational Safety Engineering.
