Author Guidelines

The Organising Committee of the OESEM Conference is calling for paper submissions. To be eligible to present your research at the Conference, your paper will go through a blind, peer-reviewed process.

Each author is allowed to submit two conference papers, but only one as the first author. All authors are asked to choose one of the conference tracks during the submission process. Papers related to specific research and not to the topics of our special tracks will not be accepted, regardless of their significance and originality.

Abstract Submission

To submit your abstract, please use our OESEM online submission system

Decision on acceptance/rejection of submitted abstracts will be sent to Corresponding Authors by 15 June, 2022

If your abstract has been accepted, you will be invited to submit the full paper.

Further details of how to submit your paper are provided below.

Full Paper Submission

Papers must be at least four (4) and at most eight (8) full pages long, including the title page and references, in accordance with the instructions (template). All papers must be written in English, the official language of the Conference.

A template containing detailed guidance to assist authors can be downloaded from the following link: OESEM_Template.

Before submitting your paper please ensure that your paper has been thoroughly checked for errors and carefully proofread.

A confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address when your full paper has been successfully uploaded. If you are unable to submit your full paper via the online portal and experience difficulties, please refer to
