Faculty of Occupational Safety in Niš is one of the fourteen faculties of the University of Niš. The Faculty is recognized for its commitment to education and research across a broad range of safety engineering disciplines. With 58 years of tradition, we are the oldest state higher education institutions in Serbia dedicated to education and research in the field of occupational and environmental safety. Our academic community includes 49 teaching staff members, 30 administrative and support staff, and more than 700 students, while our alumni network includes more than 6,000 graduates across all levels of study.
We offer BSc study programmes in Occupational Safety, Environmental Protection, and Fire Protection, as well as MSc study programmes in Occupational Safety Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, and Emergency Management. Our PhD programme in Occupational and Environmental Safety Engineering prepares the next generation of researchers to contribute to academia and scientific research.
Through the dedication of our academic and professional staff, students develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for successful careers in safety and environmental protection. Our graduates apply their expertise across industry, public institutions, research organizations, and other sectors, taking on professional and leadership roles.
